The ties under the chin actually stay put, which I worried about since my daughter yanks everything off. Knit is thick enough for real winter walks but she never seems itchy in it. Got three compliments at the park already.
The knit is thick enough that the wind doesn't cut through on our morning walks, and the ties actually stay knotted instead of slipping loose like her last hat. The pecan color looks even warmer in person than in the photos.
The fur pom on top is genuinely fluffy and hasn't shed at all after a few wears. Ties under the chin stay put even when my baby's squirming, which is more than I can say for most hats. Got it as a gift and now I want one for myself.
