Wore this on a windy 20-degree morning and my ears never once got cold, which says a lot since I usually double up with a headband. The Icelandic yarn is genuinely soft, no itch at all, and the grey goes with basically my whole winter coat. Bought a second one for my sister's birthday.
The fur pom is way fluffier than it looked in the photos and it hasn't shed at all. I've worn it on three ski trips already and my ears stay warm even when it's well below freezing.
Wore this on a windy walk and the Icelandic wool blocked the cold way better than my old acrylic beanie. The fur pom is big and fluffy, not that sad little nub some hats have. Kept it on for photos at the tree farm and it looked cute in every one.
