The smocked bodice stretches just enough to pull over my wiggly one-year-old's head without a fight, which is honestly rare. The pink gingham is even sweeter in person and the tiered ruffles held their shape after a cold wash and tumble dry.
The muslin is so lightweight that my daughter stayed comfortable in it all through Easter brunch, even after spilling juice on the ruffle tier. Washed it cold that night, hung it to dry, and it came out looking brand new with no shrinking.
